(VEGAN MEALS) SWEET POTATOES AND GREEN GRAMS/ NDENGU RECIPE KENYA

Sweet potatoes and green gram! A weird combo right?

When my mum told us that was what we would have for dinner, we secretly rolled our eyes. Who eats sweet potatoes and green grams a.k.a ndengu? We were not looking forward to that meal until we tasted it. All I can say is try it out and come back with a testimony. It can be eaten by anyone, vegan or not.

Are they cooked together?

No they are cooked separately but eaten together.
