FISH WET FRY: HOW TO COOK TILAPIA FISH FOR UGALI KENYAN STYLE

 



Tilapia, is a fresh water lake fish  that is filled with lots of proteins and Omega 3. 

How do you cook delicious Tilapia fish in Kenya for ugali?

I will show you how in a few steps.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Whole Tilapia fish
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • A tiny piece of fresh turmeric
  • A tiny piece of fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Cooking oil
  • Water
  • 1 Large bell pepper(optional)
  • Pepper as much as you want(Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut all the ingredients into pieces and put them in a blender(except for the fish,cooking oil and salt) with a little bit of water. Set aside after blending 
  2. In a sufuria, put in your cooking oil and add in the contents in the blender
  3. Let them simmer for 5 minutes then add in your fish
  4. Cover and let them cook well for 10-15minutes
