BEST PLAIN FRIED RICE RECIPE FOR WHEN YOU ARE BROKE

 


So you are broke and got some rice at home!! Today I will show you a simple fried rice recipe that you can make at home. If you are vegan you can have it with vegetables of your choice and if not, boiled eggs is a cheap, easy to make protein that you can add to this special fried rice.

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup rice

1 Onion

1 Tomato

A piece of turmeric(optional)

1 or more Boiled eggs

Salt to taste

A pinch of black pepper(optional)

1Teaspoon Pilau masala

1/2 teaspoon cardamom grounded(optional)

1/2 teaspoon cumin grounded(optional)

3 Cloves garlic

A piece of ginger

Cooking Oil


INSTRUCTIONS

In a sufuria put in your onion, mashed garlic and ginger with cooking oil

Let them cook to golden brown and then add in your black pepper cardamom and cumin

Add in your pilau masala a minute later

Add tomato salt and let them simmer

Add in your rice and water. 1 cup of rice = 2 cups water

Add your eggs to boil(optional)

Cook till done and remove the boiled eggs and serve your rice.
